Tuesday treat – my chia pudding – with a twist

I know it’s a favorite right now, and it’s shown everywhere. But I have fallen for the easy, healthy and tasty pudding as well. I usually make it in one of my glass jars with some fresh berries, or a chopped up peach.



When I make the chia pudding, I often also use brown flaxseed (linseed). They have the same traits as chia seeds in the way that they both create this gel-like coating after being exposed to liquids. The flaxseed is very rich in fibers, and has a bit of a nutty, spicy flavor to it.


Chia pudding with flaxseed:

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 tablespoon of flaxseeds

1 dl (approx. 0.4 US cups) of milk (I use oat milk)

Honey after taste


Pour it all in to a small glass jar with a clamp lid. Stir in honey after taste. Leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours, preferably over night. Give it a stir now and then. –Ready! Now all you have to do is decide on a topping.
